Vulval pain management

Some women experience persistent or recurrent pain in the vulva and the entrance to  the vagina. This may be during sex, whilst trying to use tampons, during activities such as riding a bike, wearing certain clothes or generally during the day without any specific trigger.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we may be able to help.

Please book a telephone appointment; you will then be given a clinic appointment if necessary.

Alternatively, see your GP who can refer you to our specialist sexual health services. You cannot directly self-refer for help with vulval pain – an initial consultation or GP referral is necessary.
